My Mom's Visit To North Carolina!

So since I have been all alone this summer, my mom decided to make a trip up to NC to see me (and my belly!). I was sooo excited for her to get here and we wasted no time finding things to do...the first day she was here we had my doctor's appointment to go to. Everything was good at the appointment and me and the baby are doing great :) After the doctor we went to the beach....
My mom WOULD NOT stop taking pictures of my belly...whether or not I wanted her to!! Haha Haning out at the beach :)

Another belly picture...this was the day we went to the Social Security Office to FINALLY get my last name changed. Jeremy was very happy to hear that I "officially" got it changed to Pimentel!!

Going to the beach again....tired of taking normal pictures.

We made it...Topsail Island!

Mom and I sitting in the sun :)

The first days we went to the beach I wore Jeremy's hat because I didnt want my face getting burnt. My mom and I decided to go to the mall one day before the beach and she got me my OWN Cowboys hat :)

I love North Carolina beaches...definitely not like home!

Out to eat at Roadhouse

21 weeks along

For the 4th of July we went to Camp Lejeune to celebrate!! They had food/drink stands, fun games for the kids, a couple different Marine bands (they were very entertaining), and fireworks that night. We had a blast!
Waiting for the bands to start playing.

The cannons they shot before the fireworks.

The first band that played...they were very fun to watch! They played fun music like Thriller, Cupid Shuffle, the chicken dance, and many others :)

Me and Mom!!
Lauren, Mom, Me
Of course, my mom had to take a picture of our pregnant bellies! (Lauren is due at the end of July)
The weekend before my mom left she booked a hotel for us to stay at in Raleigh. It was a very nice hotel and we actually got upgraded to the suite floor :) We got lucky!

She also booked us manicures and pedicures at the spa right next to the hotel...and I also got a pregnancy massage. It was soooo amazing! I told her she needs to come back every month so we can make it a monthy thing.

Later that night we had tickets to a "broadway show" in Downtown Raleigh. We got to get all dressed up...it was a great show!

We actually had seats in the 14th row, but right before the show started they asked us if we wanted to move up into the "pit"...2nd row seats!!

I had a great time while she was visiting and cant wait to do it again! It was a good distraction from Jeremy being gone, and it made the time go by faster. I only have 3 more weeks until he gets home then we're off to Texas for Jeremy's pre-deployment leave. See you all soon :)
