VEGGIE Tales 2

Gavin's been doing really good trying all these new veggies! The only one he hasn't really liked is potatoes...probably because they are bland and have NO flavor. He cant have the good mashed potatoes yet!!

My Little Roley Poley

So, Mr. Gavin has finally learned to roll over!! He's been close for about a week now, and he finally got it on Monday :) He goes from his back to his tummy...which isnt great because he hates to be on his stomach, so once he makes it over he cant make it back to his back and he gets mad!! Oh well, I'm just SO PROUD of my little man :)

Happy Easter!

This first picture isnt Easter related, but I just LOVE it, so I decided to share it with everyone :) We had a lot of Easter festivities to go to this year, and Gavin had a ton of fun hunting eggs (even though he had no idea what he was actually doing).

VEGGIE Tales

We have now started VEGETABLES!!! First of all, I cant even believe that my little boy is old enough to eat baby food!! But anyway, we started off with carrots :)

He had to get used to them but after the first few days he seemed to like them more.
I have been making my own baby food, but this night I decided to give him the baby food from the jar...it made suchhh a MESS!!

And when he sticks his fingers in his mouth the mess gets bigger!!

This week he has started eating SQUASH. The first day I didnt think he liked them, but every day after he's eaten them all!! Today I even had to get more because he was still hungry :)

As you can see, he's not turning any food down so far....look at that belly!

Fun in the Sun

Well, with the exception of these last few days, the past couple weeks have been beautiful!! It's been great to be able to bring Gavin outside and not have to wrap him up in 5 layers. We went to Kylie's birthday party and even went to the park a few times!

But first, I wanted to share this picture of the grandkids in the Pimentel family. This picture has come a LONG way from the first one they took together!!For Kylie's birthday I made her cupcakes...everyone knows I'm NOT creative, so this is as good as it gets!

For Kylie's birthday party she wanted a St. Patricks Day theme since it was only a few days before St. Pattys Day.

Gavin got all dressed up in his green wear!

The party was outside, so he was in a great mood all day!

We also went to the park with Bren, Jace, and Ava.

We've had a great month and Gavin is just growing and growing and growing!!

Now on a different note, Jeremy is doing good in Afghanistan! We usually email about once or twice a day and he gets to call like once every 2 weeks. He actually called this past Sunday and it was SO GOOD to talk to him and hear his voice!! He even talked to Gavin :) We cant wait for Jeremy to be back home so that we can start our new lives together and he and Gavin can get to know each other. We're still not sure when he will be back, but hopefully we will find out within the next few months. I will keep everyone updated once I know anything!!
