Fun in the Sun

Well, with the exception of these last few days, the past couple weeks have been beautiful!! It's been great to be able to bring Gavin outside and not have to wrap him up in 5 layers. We went to Kylie's birthday party and even went to the park a few times!

But first, I wanted to share this picture of the grandkids in the Pimentel family. This picture has come a LONG way from the first one they took together!!For Kylie's birthday I made her cupcakes...everyone knows I'm NOT creative, so this is as good as it gets!

For Kylie's birthday party she wanted a St. Patricks Day theme since it was only a few days before St. Pattys Day.

Gavin got all dressed up in his green wear!

The party was outside, so he was in a great mood all day!

We also went to the park with Bren, Jace, and Ava.

We've had a great month and Gavin is just growing and growing and growing!!

Now on a different note, Jeremy is doing good in Afghanistan! We usually email about once or twice a day and he gets to call like once every 2 weeks. He actually called this past Sunday and it was SO GOOD to talk to him and hear his voice!! He even talked to Gavin :) We cant wait for Jeremy to be back home so that we can start our new lives together and he and Gavin can get to know each other. We're still not sure when he will be back, but hopefully we will find out within the next few months. I will keep everyone updated once I know anything!!

Say Cheese!!!!

During Spring Break the whole family went to Chuck E. Cheese's! All of the grandchildren were together...even Ava! This was Gavin's first time to go there, so there was lots for him to see! His eyes were moving a hundred miles an hour trying to see everything and take everything in. I can tell he really enjoyed it though :)

By the end of the night Gavin was all worn out!! It was so cute because he was awake one minute and then next minute I looked over and he was OUT!

Cereal Time!!

At the beginning of March Mr. Gavin started eating baby cereal!! I can't believe he's big enough to start eating food now...he is growing like a weed! I think I was more excited than he was, but he seems to be liking it :)

Here he is right before he tried it for the 1st time. He looks excited to me! Yummm :)

He likes to put his hands in his mouth...especially when he eats. So he always make a BIG MESS!!

Gavin is really liking cereal, but he is still trying to get the hang of eating it. Soon he'll be starting veggies!!!

February Fun

We havnt really done much this month other than hang out at home and visit family. It seems like every day Gavin gets bigger and starts to do something new. This month he has been full of smiles!! I could watch him smile all day :) He's also starting to discover his voice and has been cooing and "talking". It's so cute to listen to him just talk and talk. I cant believe my baby is almost 4 months old!!

Jeremy's dad always wants to take Gavin outside, but it's been so cold lately. We decided to get Gavin all bundled up so he could hang out with his Papaw outside for a little bit.

On Valentine's Day we went to my dad and stepmom's house. We hadn't seen them since Christmas so they were very excited to see how big Gavin had gotten!

Here is my brother, Brady, with Gavin. Brady was very happy I had a boy since my sister has 2 girls already. I can see they will be best buds when Gavin gets bigger :)

This past Sunday we went to church with Nana, Uncle Scotty, & Kendal, so of course we got Gavin all dressed up!! (Nana even got him some shoes to match his new outfit!)

Then he took a brake from taking pictures so he could play pool. He has to practice so he can play with his daddy when he gets back!

Gavin was over at Aunt Leslie and Uncle Jacob's house and he was playing in Bren's bouncer...He's still got some growing to do before he can really play with it!
